Two killed, three injured in Bumburate accident
AYUN: Two persons lost their lives and three others sustained injuries when a Toyota jeep fell into a ravine in the Ocholga area of Bumburate on Monday, local people told ChitralToday.
These people were transporting firewood from the forest of Ocholga in their jeep when the accident occurred due to poor condition of the road. As a result, Sher Hakim, a resident of Inz village of Buburate, died on the spot while Shamsuddin, son of Khoshi of Oshkon Lasht Ayun, succumbed to his injuries later.
The injured have been identified as Iqrar Uddin, son of Isa Khan, a resident of Shishi Drosh, Saeed Ahmed and Hazrat, sons of Abdul Azam, of Pehlawandeh Bumburate.
The injured were shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Chitral from the Rural Health Centre of Ayun.
This is the second road traffic accident in Kalash valleys within just two days. –Muhkam Uddin Ayuni
