District education plan launched in Upper Chitral

BOONI: In order to improve quality of education, the district administration of Upper Chitral and the elementary and secondary education department launched the district education plan 2019-20.

In this regard, a function was arranged at the office of the district education office (female) where the documents were handed over to Deputy Commissioner Shah Saud.

Representatives of Adam Smith International and DFID were also present. These two organizations are offering technical support to the education department for improving standard in schools.

The two organizations have provided technical support in preparation of the plan for all districts.

There is also arrangements to implement the priorities mentioned in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Sector Plan 2015-20.

Under the programme, education officers at the district and subdivisional level are given awards and appreciation certifications if they achieved the set goals.–Karim Ullah
