CHITRAL: Officials from the British Council visited Chitral to finalize arrangements for the expected visit of Prince William, the elder son of Prince Charles, in the middle of October.
This was the third visit of the officials to Chitral in connection with the expected visit of the prince.
The 36-year-old prince was earlier expected to visit Bumburate, Broghil, Garam Chashma and Laspur valleys but now Laspur has been dropped from his itinerary, ChitralToday has learnt.
He will also visit the Chitral Fort during his stay in the town.
It may be noted that Prince William’s mother, late Lady Diana, visited Chitral in 1991 and received a rousing welcome from the people.
