Ghizer wins inaugural polo match against Laspur at Shandur

SHANDUR: The first match of the three-day Shandur festival was as usual played between the teams of Laspur and Ghizer on Sunday.

However, against past years Ghizer won the match by eight goals against six of Laspur. The first match of the mega event was inaugurated by KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan, Provincial ministers Atif Khan and Shaukat Yousufzai were also present besides elected members from other parts of KP as well as Gilgit-Baltistan.

Paragliding and musical shows were also arranged on the occasion. A large number of people have camped at the venue.
