Meeting held to discuss demarcation of new district
CHITRAL: After the announcement of Upper Chitral district by Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on November 8, a meeting for the demarcation of boundaries/delimitation for the newly-created district was held at the DC office on Thursday.
The meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Chitral Irshad Sodhar was attended by District Police Officer Syed Ali Akbar, District Officer Finance, DDMO, AACs, elected representatives and heads of political parties.
All the party members thanked the provincial government for the announcement of new District UpperChitral. Delimitation, revenue, development, assets and liabilities and employment options and matters of mutual interest were discussed in the meeting.
The DC Chitral said as per directives of the CM he had called the meeting to get inputs on the delimitation of the newly-created District and convey to the office of the chief minister to further process in the matter.
