Muhammad Ilyas of Mulkhow was shot dead while he was standing on the rooftop of his residence in Peshawar on Dec 8, 2016. The fire on Ilyas was opened from the rooftop of a house located in front of Mr Ilyas’s residence. An FIR was registered against three people. Two of them fled from the area while the third accused, Arslan Ali, obtained a bail from a lower court. Qasim Ali, the brother of the deceased man from Chitral, filed a petition in the Peshawar High Court through his counsel Muhibullah Terichvi, seeking the cancellation of the bail. After hearing to the counsel, the high court cancelled the bail after which the accused was arrested from the courtroom and shifted to jail. Talking to the media, Advocate Terichvi said the absconding suspects would also be brought to book soon.]]>
