Pace of work on powerhouse termed satisfactory

The delegation included nazims and naib nazims of the two village councils of Booni, including M. Perveez Lal, tehsil council member Sardar Hakim, chairman of Bijligar committee Shah Wazir, contractor Fazlur Rehman and SRSP social officer Fakhruddin. The delegation said that work at the site was going on speedily and if the current pace continued the project would be ready by November and provide electricity to Booni. The town has been without electricity since Aug 2015 when the Reshun powerhouse was washed away in floods. The members of the delegation, however, requested the SRSP to ensure timely payment to the contractor so that the project can be completed and made operation on time.]]>
