GDC students shine in Inter exam
Student Shahidur Rehman of the degree college scored 958 out of 1,100 marks and grabbed the first position in the whole district. He also passed the engineering entry test of EATA by scoring 387 marks and was selected for the engineering university. Another student Muaizuddin of the GDC Chitral scored 927 in the FSc examination besides passing the engineering university entry test with 448 marks. Total 321 students from the GDC Chitral appeared in the annual examination 2016 from all disciplines in FA/FSc part II examination. Out of these, 305 passed the exam with 95pc result. Out of this, six students got A-one grade, 50 students A grade and 105 students Grade B. Pre-Medical: 105 students in pre-medical FSc Part II appeared in annual examination 2016. 104 passed the exam with the percentage 99 %. Pre-Engineering: 99 students participated in Fsc part II . Out of this 97 passed the exam with a percentage of 97%. Computer science and general science group: in this category 48 students appeared in annual exam of part II, 46 passed with the percentage result 0f 95%. Humanities group: 53 students participated from this category in annual examination 2016 and 50 passed the exam with 94%. Government Degree College Chitral is one of the best educational institutions in the KPK. It has been showing excellent results. Strong leadership of the Principle, Professor Masood and brilliant performance of the teaching staff is highly commendable. I can recognize some of my students who are now the professors in this college. I have been a student of this college during the Sessions-1974-1978. And a lecturer in Political Science from 1981 to 1984.Congratulations to all the brilliant and successful students. Keep it up GDCC. We are proud of you.
