At a meeting, they passed a resolution demanding that WADAN, an NGO, should come forward to construct the building on a piece of land donated by the community. The resolution added that there was only one mosque-school for around 50 children in the village. Due to unavailability of classrooms, the students are forced to sit in the open space round the year in the summer scorching heat and rainy days in the winter. The government departments concerned have told the villagers that they have no funds for the the construction of the school building. Therefore, the community has demanded that the NGO should provide them the needed financial assistance to construct the building in the village. They said that the land for the school will be provided free of cost by the community for the primary as well as the middle school at a later stage.]]>
