Upgradation of high school Khot demanded
KHOT, Feb 11: A meeting of the PTI Union Council Khot was held under the chairmanship of its president and young social worker Sher Faraz, says a press release. The meeting was attended by elders and social figures of the area. The meeting pointed out that Khot consisted of about two-third population of the Torkhow tehsil. If any department in the area is to get development and upgradation, it is the Govt High School Khot where over 400 students are enrolled at the moment. The school should be upgraded to the level of higher secondary, they appealed to the district leadership of the PTI. Besides, there are also five other high schools in the area. The participants of the meeting regretted that MPA Sardar Hussain during his visit to the area had promised to upgrade the high school Khot but now he had decided to set up the higher secondary school at Rech as a political bargaining chip. The participants of the meeting condemned the decision of the MPA and said it was an injustice with the people of Khot. They said the MPA should take decisions on merit and give the right of the school’s upgradation to the people of Khot.]]>
