Chitrali diplomat named ambassador to Kuwait

ISLAMABAD, Sept 12: Mr Muhammad Aslam Khan, a career diplomat from Chitral, has been appointed as Pakistan’s ambassador to Kuwait.

Chitrali diplomat, an officer of the Foreign Service of Pakistan, has already worked in key diplomatic posts, including first secretary at the embassy of Pakistan in Washington.

Before leaving to take up the new assignment in Kuwait, the ambassador-designate met President Mamnoon Hussain in Islamabad. It may be noted that Mr Khan belongs to the scenic village of Shogram in upper Chitral.
