CHITRAL, June 28: Qazi Shahid Ullah, son of Dur Wali Khan of Laspur valley, has topped in FIES Group of Schools & Colleges Islamabad in the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) matric annual exam by scoring 916 marks out of 1050 marks (87%).
He is a nephew of Col (R) Ikram Ullah who had topped in Malakand division in matric board examination in 1971, says a press release.
About his achievement, Qazi Shahid said the blessing of Almighty Allah, parents’ prayers, proper guidance, facilitation efforts and academic support of teachers and his own commitment and hard working were the driving force behind his big achievement.
In his opinion, not failure but low aim is a crime. So he loves to take risk to achieve his set targets without fear of failure. He said that student must know about his destination. What are his objectives and how can he achieve those ones.
His father said that his son is a brilliant child and believes in smart working with conceptual understandings and inquiring approach of learning. In his opinion, nothing is impossible to a willing heart.
Qazi is desirous to do his PhD in Nuclear Physics from a foreign university to become a nuclear scientist like Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan in future to serve the nation in real sense.
One of his teachers said though they always come to class with full preparation, sometimes Qazi put them in trouble by asking critical questions and responding him on the spot was absolutely difficult. “We found him highly talented and well behaved student. We wish him every success in life,” he added.
