Green Lasht outclasses Zait in cricket tournament

RESHUN, May 6: In the final match of cricket tournament in Korum Shughur Reshun, Green Lasht 11 beat Zait by six runs. After winning the toss, Green Lasht decided to bat first and scored 93 runs in the 10 limited overs. Habib remained the high scorer with 29 hitting three huge sixes in one over. Zait 11 started with a big confidence and after three overs scored 36 with one wicket lost. Yet middle order batsman including skipper failed to carry the task to the winning level. After 10 over Zait was able to score only 86. Mr Inam Ilahi of Zait was given the man of the tournament award with a souvenir. Khair Muhammad Sohail, compere and well-known Kohwar poet, thanked the participants on behalf of tournament administration. “Sport is an impediment to the way of undesirable social habits and should be continued even with meager resources,” said chief guest Mr Ishaq, the resident engineer powerhouse Reshun.
