Heavy snowfall in Drosh

DROSH, Feb 2: The Drosh town and its nearby areas received heavy rain and snowfall on Sunday. Till 11:30pm on Sunday, Drosh had received about two inch of snow.  Lowari Top has received over three feet of snow, it has been learnt. According to Met Office, 16 millimeter rain was recorded in the Chitral town during the last 24 hours. The minimum temperature in Chitral remained 4 degrees Celsius. The Met Office forecast widespread rain and snowfall in the province of KPK. Owing to the heavy rain and snowfall, the roads in different parts of the Chitral valley were blocked.
