Chitrali labourer dies at Lowari tunnel

CHITRAL, Jan 20: Another Chitrali labourer lost his life due to unavailability of medical care at the under-construction Lowari tunnel on Sunday. Reports said Maqsood Ahmed, a resident of Ashiret, was working with the Korean AMBU Company as a machine operation. After working hours, he was cleaning the machine when some parts of it fell over him. The injured could not be provided medical care and due to excessive bleeding died later. The victim is survived by wife and two children. Local people said that it is fourth such incident at the Lowari tunnel.
