Orientation seminar held at AWKU campus

CHITRAL, March 5: Australian Aid Awards held an orientation seminar at Abdul Wali Khan University campus Chitral in collaboration with IM/Sciences Peshawar, says a press release. austShabana Gul, Dr. Aamir Taj, Mr. Babar Jalil and Mr. Saifuddin, the head of Management Sciences Department Abdul Wali Khan University Chitral, the focal person of Australian Aid also spoke on the occasion. The morning session of the seminar was for females while afternoon session was for male students. After detailed presentations, the resource persons also responded to questions raised by the participants. Australian Aid Awards are given to students with a background of 16 years degree or post graduate education and 2 years experience in the relevant field. The scholarships are awarded in 14 categories. Maternal & neonatal health, basic education, agriculture & rural development and governance are priority areas. Applicants from Khyber Pkhtunkhwa, Balochistan, and FATA, are priority regions. Moreover women and special persons are given priority. The scholarships are for MA/MSc level at same short courses as well. Successful candidate will get admission in Australian Universities. Participants took keen interest in the proceedings and thanked the organizers for arranging such a useful seminar at their doorsteps.
