Anti-polio drive arrangements ready

PESHAWAR, Nov 30 (APP): More than 2.1 million children in 22 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would be immunized against polio in ongoing 3 day anti-polio drive, said officials of Health Department here on Friday. According to details more than two thousands teams have been constituted for the purpose that would pay door to door visit to derive maximum results from the campaign. Moreover holding of Sub National Immunization Days have been decided to ensure the vaccination of children in sensitive areas regarding polio. Deputy Director Expanded Immunization Program, Dr. Jan Baz Afridi told that more than 5.22 million children including 1.52 million Afghan children would be administered oral polio vaccine in upcoming polio campaign adding all the agencies of FATA would also be included in ambit of anti-polio drive.]]>
