Booni, March 11, 2026: A mock exercise was held today at the District Court in Upper Chitral to enhance operational readiness and emergency response capabilities.
Officers and personnel of Upper Chitral Police participated in the drill.
According to the exercise scenario, two terrorists attempted to enter the district court with malicious intent. Upon receiving information, the armed police team immediately responded and cornered both suspects.
During the simulated encounter, one terrorist was injured while the other was neutralized. The injured suspect was promptly provided first aid by Rescue 1122 personnel and transported to the hospital.
Rescue 1122 staff coordinated with the police during the exercise, showcasing professional skills in emergency response.
At the conclusion of the mock drill, district court judges, members of the legal community, police officers and other attendees praised the performance of police.
