TikToker Samiya Hijab alleges that Lahore man proposed her and after rejections tried to abduct her from her home in Islamabad.

Sana Yousaf’s friend Seeks protection after abduction bid

Islamabad, Sept 2, 2025: TikToker Samiya Hijab, a close friend of slain social media star Sana Yousaf, survived an attempted abduction in Islamabad.

The attack has renewed fears about the safety of women in Pakistan’s online entertainment industry. Samiya shared CCTV footage of the incident on Instagram. The video shows a man knocking repeatedly at her door. He then attacks her and drags her toward a car parked outside. She resists but the suspect forces her into the vehicle.

Samia named the alleged abductor as Hassan Zahid, a resident of Lahore. She said he had harassed her for several days. According to her, he followed her, pressured her, and made repeated marriage proposals. She appealed to the authorities for protection.

“My friend Sana Yousaf was murdered earlier this year. Now I fear I may face the same fate. I request Islamabad Police to protect me and take action,” she said.

The video went viral and drew strong reactions online. Thousands of users condemned the assault and demanded immediate police action. The attack comes only months after the murder of Sana Yousaf, who was killed inside her own home at G-13 sector of Islamabad on June 2, 2025. That case shocked the country and highlighted the growing risks faced by women in the spotlight.

Islamabad Police have not yet issued a statement. Public pressure for accountability continues to grow.
