DROSH: A fire broke out in the Drosh bazar on Sunday, but the flames were controlled by Rescue 1122 before spreading out to the markets.
Rescue 1222 in a statement said that the fire was caused by an electric short circuiting. The fire engulfed a tandoor, a general store and a spare parts shop in Drosh bazar at Alyan. Rescue 1122 staffers along with fire engines reached the spot and extinguished the flames after about an hour.
