CHITRAL: A free medical camp was organized in Attani village of union council Ayun, the district health department said on Monday.
Typhoid cases have been reported in Attani village and a latest sampling report confirmed the presence of typhoid bacteria in the water tank of the village.
The health department said that 350 patients were checked and provided with medicine in the area in collaboration with the medical team of Chitral Scouts.
An awareness session was also arranged at the camp in which doctors briefed the area people about precautions against the disease.
