Chitral | June 3, 2026: A delegation from UNICEF visited the Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) Chitral office, where matters related to clean drinking water supply and other civic issues were discussed in detail.
During the visit, the delegation inspected key water quality monitoring facilities, including the central water testing laboratory and the mobile water testing unit. The team reviewed the systems in place for ensuring safe drinking water in the region.
A meeting was also held between the UNICEF team and the TMO Chitral Haider Ayub Khan. The discussion focused on long-standing issues faced by the local population with particular emphasis on ensuring a sustainable and reliable supply of clean drinking water for residents.
Officials said the positive outcomes from the visit are expected in the near future that could benefit the residents of Chitral.
