CHITRAL, Dec 30, 2025: Fear and panic have gripped the residents of Baghusht in Garam Chashma following multiple attacks on livestock by a snow leopard, local people stated.
They said that the repeated attacks had not only caused substantial losses to their animals but also posed a serious threat to human lives. The community expressed deep concern over the escalating situation.
They urged the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Wildlife Department to take immediate measures to relocate the snow leopard away from the locality to prevent further damage.
Residents warned that if timely action is not taken by the authorities, they may be compelled to take protective measures themselves to safeguard their lives and cattle.
