Chitral, Dec 28, 2025: Kashif Ahmed alias Sheena, a resident of Chakidam Drosh, has been arrested by the police in Drosh in connection with a house burglary case.
According to a spokesman for the Lower Chitral police, a large quantity of drugs along with stolen property worth thousands of rupees were recovered from the suspect.
The case was registered on the complaint of Abdul Hameed, also a resident of Chakidam, after a burglary at his home.
Under the instructions of DPO Lower Chitral Rafatullah Khan, SP Investigation Muhammad Shafi Shifa formed a special investigation team led by SDPO Circle Drosh Iqbal Karim. The team included SHO Drosh SI Bulbul Hasan and other investigative officers.
Through intelligence and investigative work, the team identified the suspect involved in the burglary and raised the place of the suspect and recovered the stolen property from him.
During the search, the police also recovered 3.7 kilograms of charas from the suspect’s possession. Further investigation is ongoing.
