PTI Rally Demands Release Of Imran Khan

Peshawar, Dec 7, 2025: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) held a rally in Peshawar on Sunday, drawing senior party leaders, lawmakers and thousands of supporters.

During the gathering, the party reaffirmed its unwavering support for its jailed founder Imran Khan, describing him as a national leader whose mandate cannot be undermined without public consent.

Speaking at the rally, Taimoor Jhagra and Shahid Khattak urged party workers to maintain unity and discipline, while emphasizing PTI’s narrative and public support. MPA Mina Khan Afridi highlighted youth participation in politics and ongoing development projects, and MNA Iqbal Afridi underscored the need to protect the rights of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s citizens.

Other senior party leaders, including Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, described public representation as the voice of millions of citizens, calling Imran Khan a national hero and the leader of the people.

The rally was also attended by Mahmood Khan Achakzai, chairman of the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, and senior politician Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, who stressed political stability, the rule of law, and the protection of citizens’ rights.

During the event, a resolution was passed demanding the immediate release of political detainees, including Imran Khan, and the restoration of their legal rights. The resolution also condemned all undemocratic actions, reiterated the supremacy of the public mandate in the province and rejected attempts to weaken elected governments through unconstitutional or illegal measures.

The party also condemned terrorism and any attacks on public rights, calling for the protection of the armed forces’ dignity and the security of civilians. The resolution emphasized full implementation of rights for residents of tribal districts and KP, economic development and stronger bilateral ties with Afghanistan.

The participants were chanting slogans in support of Imran Khan and PTI’s leadership, reinforcing their commitment to political freedom, public representation and the country’s future stability.
