DROSH, Aug 13: The C&W Operations & Maintenance Association held a special meeting in the Drosh Division of Lower Chitral.
The main agenda was to elect an interim president. Following the retirement of the former president, members elected Syed Noor Hussain Jan as the interim president.
The association announced that it will hold formal elections within the next three months.
Members also called for a labor colony in Chitral. They said it will help solve housing problems for government employees, especially Fort Force personnel. The participants described this step as positive and important for employee welfare.
The meeting highlighted the association’s commitment to strong leadership and staff support.
Officials stressed the need for housing, transparency, and a better work environment to boost efficiency and morale within the C&W department.
