BOONI: Rescue 1122 Upper Chitral trained police personnel in first aid at Police Lines Morder, continuing its district-wide emergency preparedness campaign.
Earlier this month, Chitral Today reported on a similar training session, highlighting growing community interest in life-saving skills.
Following the directives of DG Rescue 1122 Tayyab Abdullah and Regional Director North Arshad Iqbal, District Emergency Officer Zafar Uddin is leading these initiatives across Upper Chitral, said a statement by the emergency service.
During the latest session, trainers taught basic life support, trauma care, and safe evacuation techniques. Police officers actively participated in practical exercises.
Rescue 1122 plans to expand these trainings to schools, colleges, and other departments. The Police Lines administration appreciated the team’s efforts to improve local emergency response.
