Chitral boy scouts join training camp in Abbottabad

ABBOTTABAD: A 15-member team of Boy Scouts from Lower Chitral has reached Abbottabad to attend a national-level Boy Scouts training camp, under the supervision of District Boy Scouts Secretary Lower Chitral, Haji Farooq Azam.

The training camp, organized by the Pakistan Boy Scouts Association, aims to equip young participants with essential life skills such as first aid, personal hygiene, environmental care, and teamwork through extracurricular activities. The camp also promotes youth leadership, character development, and community service values.

Speaking to ChitralToday, Haji Farooq Azam stated, “This camp is a great opportunity for our youth to learn practical skills, build confidence, and develop a strong sense of responsibility toward society.”

The Boy Scouts from Chitral are expected to return with enhanced leadership abilities and a commitment to contributing positively to their local communities. Their participation highlights the growing involvement of Chitral\’s youth in national development and structured civic engagement.
