Contractor promises to complete Chitral-Booni road in four months

CHITRAL: Umar Jan, head of Umar Jan Construction Company, made his first public appearance during a meeting at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Chitral.

He promised to complete the Chitral-Booni road within four months. He assured the public that his team would build the road according to all required specifications and quality standards. He urged the local community to cooperate and allow uninterrupted progress on the project.

Amir Zeb, representing Jawad Construction Company, committed to finishing the Lowari tunnel approach road by October 31.

Brigadier (R) Muzaffar Ali Ranjha, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Inspection Commission, attended the meeting and announced a grant of Rs300 million for the Garam Chashma Road.

He also directed officials to add the Booni-Bozand Road to the agenda for tomorrow’s meeting in Booni, following a request by Advocate Jalaluddin.

A NESPAK representative pledged to complete the design work by August 5 and confirmed positive developments on the Kalash Valley roads.

Chairman Ranjha will visit Booni tomorrow to inspect progress on the Shandur Road and will tour the Kalash Valley roads on June 28.

PML-N District President Advocate Abdul Wali Khan thanked him for visiting Chitral and showing direct commitment to local development projects, according to PML-N spokesman Niaz A. Niazi Advocate.
