CHITRAL: A fire broke out at the house of Khaleequz Zaman in Pir Gali locality of Goldur in Chitral town.
Upon receiving the emergency call, Rescue 1122 dispatched its firefighting team along with fire vehicles to the site. After 30 minutes of intense firefighting, the blaze was brought under control.
The fire reportedly erupted suddenly in tarpaulins stored on the rooftop of the house. Thanks to the swift and efficient response by the Rescue team, the fire was contained to the rooftop area, preventing major damage and safeguarding the lives and properties of both the household and nearby residents.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire originated from materials stored on the roof. Rescue 1122’s timely intervention helped in averting a major disaster.
Two fire vehicles and multiple firefighters participated in the operation, utilizing around 10,000 liters of water to extinguish the fire completely.
