CHITRAL: A driver went missing after a Suzuki vehicle fell into the Chitral River near Koru, Ayun, on Chitral Road on Wednesday.
The vehicle was reportedly transporting a cow towards Chitral when it experienced brake failure and plunged into the river.
The driver has been identified as Etibar Khan, resident of Gahiret. There was no other person on the vehicle.
Rescue 1122 Lower Chitral was immediately alerted. The rescue arrived at the scene and launched a search operation, which continued throughout the evening. However, despite extensive efforts, no trace of the driver’s body was found.
