BOONI: Sepoy Amir Hussain of Pakistan Army’s 26 FF Regiment embraced martyrdom on the morning of Eid-ul-Adha during an anti-terror operation in Tirah Valley, Khyber District.
A resident of Sor Laspur, Sepoy Amir was laid to rest with full military honors in his native village. The funeral was attended by military officials, local residents and civil administration.
On the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Upper Chitral, Haseeb Rehman Khan Khalil, Tehsildar Mastuj Shafiur Rehman and Subedar Major Abdul Rehman of the Levies Force represented the district administration.
A wreath was laid on behalf of the administration, and condolences were extended to the bereaved family.
Officials hailed the martyr’s sacrifice as a symbol of national pride and resilience against terrorism.
