Third batch completes driving course

CHITRAL: The third batch of the Traffic Driving School operating under the Lower Chitral Police has completed its driving course.

A special ceremony was held at the Police Facilitation Center, Zargarandeh, to honour the graduating candidates.

District Police Officer (DPO) Lower Chitral, Mr. Iftikhar Shah, paid a visit to the center and participated in the event as chief guest. He was accompanied by DSP Headquarters Mr. Tamizuddin and In-charge Police Facilitation Center Sub-Inspector Amanullah.

Speaking to the graduating candidates, DPO Shah emphasized the importance of adhering to traffic laws for ensuring road safety. “Today, you are not just leaving with a certificate, but with knowledge that can save lives; yours and others on the road,” he said.

He appreciated the initiative of the driving school in promoting road safety awareness and instilling discipline among new drivers. The DPO further highlighted that proper driver education is essential in reducing road accidents and creating responsible citizens.

At the end of the ceremony, certificates were distributed among the candidates by the DPO and DSP Headquarters.

The Traffic Driving School, a project of the Lower Chitral Police, continues to provide structured training for aspiring drivers with the aim of building a safer traffic environment in the district.
