CHITRAL: Flash floods, landsliding and avalanches following heavy rain and snowfall have also blocked Garam Chashma road at several places.
Affected residents have called upon district administration of Lower Chitral to expedite work to reopen road.
They said that though the district administration had launched work to remove the debris and obstacles from the road, more machinery and staff were needed as the road was blocked at multiple points.
They said instead of Chitral side, NHA staff should be deployed to clear the road from Garam Chashma side as well.
