Blocked Garam Chashma road reopened

CHITRAL: Torrential rain in Chitral blocked the Chitral-Garam Chashma night due to flash flooding last night.

Rescue 1122 on Sunday said in a statement that the Garam Chashma road was blocked by flash flooding at Shehrisham. As a result, commuters remained stuck on both sides of the blocked road.

After being alerted, staff of Rescue 1122 Lower Chitral along with machinery reached the spot and reopened the road by removing the flood debris.

The emergency service advised people not to travel at night to avoid any inconvenience.
