Flash flood kills 11 family members in Kohat

KOHAT: As many as 11 members of a family lost their lives after rainwater entered their house in Kohat, Khyber Pakthunkhwa.

The family members were sleeping in the basement of the house when the floodwater submerged it after heavy rain, according to media reports.

According to Rescue 1122, the victims included six children, three women and two men.

The dead bodies of all the deceased except one baby girl have been recovered and shifted to hospital. The incident occured in the old Bazikhel area of Kohat.
