Suspect arrested, stolen vehicle recovered

CHITRAL: The Chitral Lower police arrested a man on the charge of stealing a jeep and recovered the stolen vehicle.

A spokesman for the police in a statement on Sunday said that the Drosh police had received a complaint about the theft of a Toyota jeep on July 8.

The subdivisional police officer Iqbal Karim formed a team to trace the vehicle and arrest its lifters.

Investigation officer Abdullah launched an investigation and arrested Iqbal Hassan, son of Fazal Khan, a resident of Damel in Arandu, from a down district.

The suspect was brought back to Chitral and on his information the police recovered the vehicle and handed it over to its owner.
