PESHAWAR: Pakistan Television (PTV) on Wednesday started daily Khowar news bulletin from its Peshawar centre.
The Khowar news bulletin has been launched from PTV National which is telecast at 2:20pm.
Khowar is the third largest language in Khyber Pakthunkhwa and is spoken by people of Chitral as well as Ghizer district of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Earlier, Khowar news was launched by PTV Peshawar last year once a week. The daily Khowar news from the national TV channel has been welcomed by people of Chitral, saying it would help promote the language.
