PFF starts probe into DFA Chitral elections
CHITRAL: Pakistan Football Federation has started an inquiry into the DFA Lower Chitral chapter elections held last month.
PFF is conducting for the first time online elections for the district football associations across Pakistan in different phases. In its first phase, Lower Chitral was one of the districts to go through the election process. 13 Asmany as football clubs, having voting rights, participated in the election and the results were declared with Ejaz Ahmad as president-elect, Ali Ahmad as deneral secretary and Zahiruddin as treasurer.
Kamal Abdul Jamil, candidate for president, filed a review/recounting appeal with the plea that his panel, Dostan Group, enjoyed the support of seven clubs who voted for him. It is now officially notified by PFF that they were inquiring the matter.
