Siraj a hot favourite PPP candidate for PK-1

Siraj hot favourite PPP candidate for PK-1

Zulfiqar Ahmad

ISLAMABAD: In all ominously abuzz likelihood, the freezing weather of Upper Chitral is all roasted up with the mercurial political temperature ahead of February 8, 2024 electoral frenzy with Advocate Siraj Ali Khan jumping into the fray as the hot favourit probable for the coveted ticket of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) which enjoys an unparalleled clout in the district.

PPP candidate. The burning political arena has been set ablaze to an even furthering extent following the catchy news making headlines that Siraj Ali Khan (advocate) is potentially perhaps the final pick of Bhutto’s firebrand jiyalas.
Siraj, who was nominated by the PPP as nazim in the year of 2000 during Gen Pervez Musharraf’s regime, entails the illustrious capability to make his political rivals pay through the nose in the largest electoral contest in the country’s five legislatures on the 8th day of February to come.
The bestowing of the ticket to Siraj by politically acumen rich Asif Ali Zardari’s political force is being deciphered as a smartly turned out plan on part of the widely known “mard-e-hur” to lay to rest his political foes in the hilly terrain of Chitral.
The other two foremost like-ables against the golden sparrow ticketing of Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari’s elongated brigade in all the vicinities of Chitral, the upper riparian, duly happen to be since no other than the district’s very own yet mushroomed political heavyweight-age component, the famously known Haji Ghulam Muhammad of the newly born yet detached parliamentarian bloc of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and Chitral’s dearly owned organism Sikander Ul Mulk of incarcerated Imran Khan-led PTI, are also sending out toughly competitive vibes to PPP’s majorly most likely beau – Siraj, the advocate.
For PPP candidate, the final say on throwing away the much-cherished ticket will have to be drawn by the party’s provincial czars after having a word of consultative guidance from the centrally placed gurus headed by the son-duo.
In the same vein on the heels of all this triggering turn of unfolding events lies unabatedly the “R” factor adequately drawn out from the political upbringing of the religious forces.
That being said, if any stroke of smart luck makes its way to the thinking brains of the socio-religious clans to the likes of – Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F), the Fazal franchise and Jamat-e-Islami (JI), the Sirajul Haq’s notion – in the area may completely weed out the rival political offshoots of the parties that be.

  1. If the PPP awards ticket to Siraj wakil, the PTI jiyali from Awi Mandagh and Ms Suraya Begum are set to face a humiliating defeat without any doubt. The decision of PTI to award ticket to Suraya Begum will be no less than a blunder, a blunder which the PTI is going to repeat this time again.
The only candidate if the PTI is serious about winning PK-1 could only be possible if Sikanarul Mulk is given the ticket.
The PTI leadership must not waste this great opportunity by giving tickets to politically unnkonwn people who will turn out to be loser at the end of the day.
Miraj Khan of Morder is comparatively a good choice than Suraya Begum. Even Fauzia Bibi is a good choice, but she comes from lower Chitral.
Dr Haroon Shah of Charun is also not a bad option. He can do well compared to the sympathisers of an almost half literate senator who is already not in the good book of incarcerated PTI founding chairman Imran Khan.
The best choice from all angel is Latif if he is not interested in National Assembly seat.
The local leadership must bring all these things in the notice of central leadership or else just get ready for a grand celebration when Pervez Khattak will show off his trademark thumka along with Haji Ghulam Muhamnad to the drumbeat of “arghaniwar” at the lawn of PTDC Motel Booni.

  2. My sincere appreciation for the Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians’ (PPPP) Chitral chapter’s decision to nominate Mr. Siraj Ali Khan Advocate as a candidate. His selection is well-deserved and highly suitable.
I extend my best wishes to Mr. Siraj Ali Khan Advocate as he takes on this important role. May he contribute positively to the party and the community.

    1. Imran Khan zindabad

But there is no posisbility to win the seat given the worst ever performance of PPP leadership like Sardar Hussain and Salim Khan in the past. Siraj Ali Khan is no different as his performance was pathetic during his stint as a union council nazim. It is now or never, we must get rid of these PPP walas.

  3. The best choice for upper Chitral in the given circumstances is no other than Haji Ghulam Muhammad Khan of Booni. His past is self-explanatory with few exceptions. I do not endorse with what he did as a shrewd grain contractor in connivance with some of his henchmen who were serving as district food controllers (DFOs) back then. But overall as member provincial assembly his slat is clean as he had done great compared to all his predecessors. I am confident he would deliver even if his newly found political godfateher Pervez Khattak faces a humiliating defeat in the forthcoming elections because GM is sorta jack-of-all-trades.

  4. Siraj Ali Khan a best choice. I personally know him, I found him a competent and having to do good attitude person. He is eager to solve the issues of Chitral. We need such leadership. I hope PPP will give him a chance, definitely he will win.

  5. A wakil sahib ticket o ki tatan parani jeet howo. Haji sahib jam ki koi ta support o kori nishalik. Haya Bara Mastuj o tan chance daleek.

  6. Latif Ullah Tarichvi

Good luck all, however, Siraj Adocate is excellent option Candidly. Majority of people like him, he will get vote across upper Chitral.

  7. I want you all to mark my words: Siraj Ali Khan, the PPP nominee for PK-1 and Salim Khan PK-2, are going to face a humiliating defeat. Period.

Just came across a video circulting on social media where Salim Khan could be seen boasting to send his political rivals to hell in the elections with the help of Abu Lais Ramdasi of Reshun, Sher Hussain of Zait, and Amirullah Khan of Reshun, to name a few.

If words could be ranslated into into votes, Salim Khan would be chief minister. Siraj would be KP Assembly speaker. Abulais Ramdasi would be home minister. And Amirullah of Reshun deserved no less than a slot of deputy speaker KP Assembly.

Siraj could also be seen completely lost and virtually dreaming of taking an ariel view of Chitral along with Asif Ali Zardari and Faryal Talpur in Malik Riaz of Bahria Town’s chopper after winning the seat in dreams. Slow down man!

However, Salim did not stop there as he then wheeled off at Chitral airport where scores of police jeeps with hooters already awaited him with Syed Kauser Ali Shah of Booni receiving him as provincial information minister surround by the officials of press information department.

And there at the airport he makes the announcement of elevating Syed Sher Hussain of Zait as minister for religoius affairs as he seemed impressed of his Shah ji connections.

Come on Salim! Woh din gayei jab Salim fakhta uraya kerta tha. Stop building castles in the air! Utilise the fortune you made – through whatever means – during your previous stint as population welfare minister through sheer stroke of luck and stop dreaming of winning a seat as your game is over!!! Your party is burried forever.

And you know who is going to rule this country as next prime minister? The man who is returning sooner or later is no other than the KING KHAN – the one and only Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi!
