PESHAWAR: Anjuman Taraqi-e-Khowar Peshawar President Rehmanullah Tofan along with the cabinet members at a meeting expressed gratitude to the central Anjuman Taraqi-e-Khowar for conferring an award on Mehrban Elahi, the convener of the Peshawar circle of the Anjuman, in recognition of his literary services.
Fazl Naeem Lal, Vice President of the Anjuman Peshawar, and Mehrban Elahi were present as the chief guest at the meeting, says a press release. Anjuman Taraqi-e-Khowar chief Inayat Jalil Anbar, Khawaja Saeed Ahmed and Syed Ibrahim Shah Tahir spoke on the occasion.
Zafar Masroor, Khair Mohammad Khan Sohail, Abdul Majeed Majroh and Muhammad Ghafar Akif also were present at the meeting. They expressed their desire to make more efforts for the promotion of the Anjuman Taraqi-e-Khowar.
