CHITRAL: A minor boy who went missing in a village in Mulkhow was caught at the Ashiret checkpost near Lowari tunnel while being taken to Karachi by his father, police said.
Reports in social media earlier said that Sohail Ahmed, son of Ali Ahmed of Kushum village, had gone to Kosht Sandragh village along with his mother. On Thursday morning, he went to a nearby shop and disappeared.
After the social media report, police in Lower Chitral intensified checking and caught the boy at Ashiret checkpost with a man. On investigation, it emerged that the man was father of the boy and was taking him to Karachi.
He told the police that he along with his family lived in Karachi, but his wife came to Chitral and planned to take Khula from court. The police said the boy would be given in the custody of his mother till a final order from court.
