CHITRAL: The heirs of two police personnel who were martyred in an explosion at the CTD police station in Kabal Swat on April 24 were handed over compensation cheques here on Sunday.
In this regard, Assistant Inspector General of Police (welfare) Hameedullah Khan visited Chitral and met the heirs of the two martyred policemen Khalilur Rehman and Fazle Razzaq. He paid tributes to the martyrs and said the police were proud of their sacrifices.
He said the heirs of those who laid down their lives for peace in the province would never be ignored and all-out efforts would be taken for the welfare of their loved ones.
