New cabinet of student body takes oath

PESHAWAR: The newly elected office-beaters of Chitral Student Association were administered oath at a ceremony held in Peshawar press club on Wednesday.

Special Secretary Elementary and Secondary Education Abdul Karam administered the oath to the newly elected cabinet. After taking the oath, the newly elected President Ali Akbar Khan assured the students that efforts to solve the problems of the students would continue. He appealed to the political and social leaders present in the ceremony for their cooperation.

For the first time in the history of Chitral Student Association, the newly elected president gave special place to minority students in his cabinet, which is a great step to promote relations between students.

Along with this, the newly elected president, maintaining the tradition of former President Khalq Dad Laqani, also gave special representation to families and students of Madrasahs in his cabinet.

It may be noted that the elections of Chitral Student Association were held on February 15 in which Ali Akbar Khan won the president slot.–Irshadullah Khan
