AYUN: Deputy Commissioner Lower Chitral M. Anwarul Haq on Friday appreciated the cooperation being extended by landowners and other people in removing hurdles for the construction of the Ayun valleys road, work on which is ongoing.
He was addressing participants of a meeting held at a local hotel to remove reservations of landowners and others regarding compensation and other issues. The DC assured the landowners that they would get compensation in accordance with law on time.
He also asked the assistant commissioner and settlement tehsildar to complete the assessment of land to be used for the road so the owners could be paid compensation as soon as possible.
He said the road would be constructed as per the design and upon its completion it would play a key role in the development of the area and promotion of tourism.
