Four tourists injured in road accident

CHITRAL: Four tourists were injured after their car skidded off a culvert at Ashiret on Chitral-Peshawar road on Friday and fell into a nullah, an official of Rescue 1122 told ChitralToday. 

The emergency service said the tourists belonged to Charsadda and were coming to Chitral.

It said five people were travelling in the car and one of them remained unhurt.

The injured were shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Drosh where their condition was stated to be out of danger.

Thousands of tourists visited Chitral during the Eidul Fitr holidays and officials said the number of the visitors this year broke all the previous records.

However, they complained about the poor condition of roads and lack of other facilities.
