CHITRAL: A woman from Ayun, who was married to a man from Nowshera, was found hanged in Kharian, Punjab, where her husband worked.
The deceased, Samina Niaz, daughter of Jang Aman, aged 26, of Muldeh Ayun, was mother of a two-year-old daughter.
An army official reported to the police in Kharian Cantonment that Nadir Pervez had reached his place of duty in the morning when he received a call from home. He rushed back and found his wife hanging from a ceiling fan. The police have launched an inquiry to ascertain the actual cause of death.
In the meanwhile, Tehreek Tahafuz Huqooq Chitral chief Pir Mukhtar and Dawat Hazimat-e-Chitral senior member Salahuddin Toofan reached Kharian and fulfilled all the legal formalities and later sent the dead body to Chitral.–Syed Nazir Hussain Shah
