Forest fire partially put out

DROSH: The fire that erupted in the forest of Drosh Gol three days ago was on Wednesday partially extinguished by Rescue 1122 firefighters.

Rescue 1122 stated that its personnel reached the forest after walking for four hours and carried out an operation along with staffers from forest department and residents of Biori village. 

A rain in the mountain  helped in partially extinguishing the flames but there were gusty winds that caused a spread in the fire again, it added.

It is the fourth incident of fire in the forest areas of Lower Chitral during the last about one month, local people told ChitralToday.
