10 injured in raod accident near Kuragh
CHITRAL: At least 10 people were injured in a collision between a flying coach and a Sierra jeep on Chitral-Mastuj road near Kuragh on Saturday.
Most of the injured were provided first aid and released from a local health facility but retired teacher Zar Wali Shah, her daughter and driver Adnan Murad of Kargin were shifted to Chitral.
Mr Shah was travelling in his Sierra along with his daughter and driver when the accident occurred.
The other injured included Abdul Wahid of Kosht, Farid Ahmed of Broz, Shujat Ahmed from Bakrabad, Muhammad Sadiq, Kuragh, and Hazrat Hussain Baghar (driver of the coach).
The driver of the Sierra jeep was said to be critical.
Accidents gave become common in Chitral due to poor condition of roads and negligent driving. One person lost his life and seven others were injured in another accident near Sonoghur two days ago.–Muhkam Uddin Ayuni
