Awareness of disaster risk management for hospital staff emphasized

DROSH: A two-day workshop arranged for the medical and paramedical staff of the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Drosh concluded on Wednesday.

The workshop, “Disaster risk management in health institutions” arranged by District Health Development Centre was also attended by paramedical staff of health centres located in the nearby areas of Drosh.

Briefing the participants, Dr Shakir Ullah said awareness of risk management among medical paramedical staff was very important to avoid any disaster in healthcare institutions.

Dr Noorul Islam attended the event as a facilitator.

Other participants of the workshop were of the view that such pogrammes should be arranged for the staff of all hospitals on a regular basis.—Jahan Zeb
